My favorite Anti-Inflammatory Foods

Inflammation is a very important topic these days.

We know that a low-grade chronic inflammation is linked to some chronic and degenerative diseases such as cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, Alzheimer’s disease and certain forms of cancer; furthermore, inflammation in our body can interfere with many body hormones such as insulin and cortisol, meaning weight gain and trouble sleeping.


Many things can cause inflammation in our body everyday: exposure to toxins (smoking and pollution), alcohol intake, sedentary life and a diet rich in refined sugar and processed foods.


Here’s my top list of anti-inflammatory foods to include in our diet every day to help fight this inflammation.

-Avocado

-Berries

-Walnuts

-Salmon

-Chia seeds

-Extra Virgin Olive oil

-Green Leafy Vegetables

-Ginger

-Turmeric
